"Manage your finances with a Credit Union Current Account"

We now offer our members a Credit Union Current Account. Our new account lets you have all your wages, pensions or benefits paid in, have a cash point card, (if eligible) have a VISA Debit card, transfer your Credit Union savings for easy access and set up direct debits and standing orders to pay all your household bills. We are one of the first credit unions in the country to offer this exciting new service. Call us on 01924 305168 or 01977 723777 for more information!

Much more than a basic bank account

The Credit Union Current Account offers:

  • Withdrawals: get cash from machines all around the world, and this is free if part of the UK Link network
  • Standing Orders and Direct Debits: make regular payments easy, and earn yourself discounts
  • Visa Debit cards: pay for goods and services in millions of outlets around the world , and on the Internet
  • Convenience Credit: balance your cash-flow, and avoid the financial stress at the end of the month
  • Regular statements (quarterly, or after 25 transactions if sooner): track your spending, and keep control of your finances
  • And best of all it’s easy to apply, with no restrictive conditions
  • Same day transfers from your Credit Union Savings account to your Credit Union Current Account (CUCA)

The White Rose Credit Union Current Account will cost just £2 a month, until 1st October when the charge will be changed to £1.00 per week. This will be taken from your account each Friday.

A typical household could save over £200 a year on Dual fuel if they pay by Direct Debit instead of using a meter.  (Reasonable additional charges will apply for special services, such as extra statements.)
